Chairman NADRA suspends three officials at two mega centers in Karachi

Chairman NADRA suspended three officials at its two out of three mega centers in the commercial hub of Karachi.

Punishment to the employees of NADRA was given on the charges of negligence by the Chairman, National Database Registration Authority Usman Mubeen while he paid a surprise visit to NADRA's centers in Karachi.

Mr. Mubeen went to the SITE Center where he hid his identity and stood in a queue. When he reached the window and tried to submit his form, he was shocked to know that his form was rejected. 

After his form was rejected, his staff accompanied him had introduced Mr. Mubeen to the staff of SITE NADRA center. He already inspected the center and found two counters without staff despite the fact that the center was crowded with the applicants.

He took action on the spot suspending two officers, responsible to supervise the center, including Navaid Billo. 

Usman Mubeen went to Liaquatabad mega center where he witnessed that the lady at the counter refused to accept the form from a woman applicant belonging to the city of Larkana. The lady staffer told the applicant that one can submit the form to acquire the Computerized National Identity Card at the center of his/her own city.

Usman Mubeen taking immediate action suspended the lady Akhtar Shaheen. He said that a citizen of the country can acquire his or her CNIC from any center of NADRA anywhere in the country irrespective of that where he/she lives permanently.
