Two men from Hazara community gunned down in Quetta
Two men of Hazara community were shot dead and another was injured in Quetta on Sunday.
Three men were traveling together on the outskirts Quetta when two men on a motorcycle opened fire on them, killing two and wounding the third, a police official said.
The victims were identified as Muhammad Zaman, 50 and Muhammad Ali, 40.
The third one, Safar Ali, is said to be a policeman. The bodies and injured were taken to Bolan Medical Complex.
Following the incident, the law enforcers reached the spot and cordoned off the area. They removed the bodies and injured to hospital.
According to the initial investigation, the police collected the empties and other evidence from the spot. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
According to a recent report of the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR), at least 509 Hazaras have been killed and 627 have been injured in terror-related incidents in Quetta over the last five years.
