International media curious about PSL3 final in Karachi
The US newspaper Seattle Times reported, "Pakistan’s biggest city will witness a high-profile cricket match for the first time in nine years on Sunday when the Pakistan Super League final is staged amid heavy security at a newly renovated National Stadium in Karachi."
Ledger-Enquirer said the city of Karachi is giving a festive look to welcome foreign players like Peshawar Zalmi's Darren Sammy of West Indies and Chris Jordan of England, and South African J.P. Duminy and New Zealand's Luke Ronchi of Islamabad United.
Billboards and player cut-outs have been displayed on the sides of main streets to celebrate an international-standard game for the first time in nearly a decade.

Experience to Visit Pakistan
Skysports.com interviewed Liam Dawson and asked him as to what made you decide to travel to Pakistan. He said, "My feelings were that it would be a great experience. Any doubts or nerves I had about the decision of going to Pakistan were helped by knowing the overseas players were all in the same situation. We have all been given the information from the relevant authorities regarding the security side of things and that does give you some reassurance which is a good thing. As someone who had never played cricket in Pakistan before, it has been great experiencing the great atmosphere and the love of cricket from the Pakistani people, who we all know are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the game."Gulf News said Former West Indian captain and Pakistani crowd favorite Darren Sammy, who will skipper Peshawar for a second time after leading them to victory last year, lauded the country’s efforts.
“Pakistan is a place where I have a great connection and I feel proud that I am part of the efforts to revive international cricket in Pakistan,” he said.
Indian Media
Indian media has prominently highlighted the statement of Shahid Afridi.
The Indian Express said flamboyant Pakistan allrounder, Shahid Afridi believes Indian cricketers should also be invited to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 event.
Speaking at a function of his foundation in Lahore, Afridi said he knew that Indian players had contracts which didn’t allow them to play in other foreign T20 leagues.
Zee News quoted Shahid Afridi as saying, "I know it is difficult that they (Indian players) will come as they only play in the Indian Premier League. But we should invite them for the next edition of the PSL,".
