Mass grave ‘containing bodies of Jihadi John’s victims’ found in Syria
A mass grave thought to contain the bodies of Jihadi John’s victims has been found in Syria, according to US officials. It is the first time that the suspected burial site of British aid workers Alan Henning and David Haines, who were captured and then murdered by Isis, has been uncovered.
CNN reported that two captured British Isis fighters revealed the location of the site, near Raqqa.
Its exact location has not been made public over fears that jihadis could target the area, which is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
Forensic experts and soldiers have made their visit to the site, which could contain the remains of hostages executed by Jihadi John – real name Mohammed Emwazi.

The British fighter was filmed executing a number of hostages before he was killed in an air strike in 2015.
Two of his known associates, Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh, who were captured in Syria last month, have since told officials the location of the burial site.
They are the two surviving members of the terror cell known as ‘The Beatles’ due to their distinctive British accents. ---Courtesy to Metro
