Polling for by-elections in 35 constituencies underway
Polling for the by-elections on thirty 
five constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies is 
underway across the country.
Three hundred and seventy candidates are
 in the run for the elections to be held on eleven National Assembly and
 twenty four Provincial Assemblies' seats.
People are turning to the polling stations to exercise their right of vote.
Polling will continue without any pause till five pm.
Over seven thousand and four hundred 
polling stations have been set up for the by polls. Of these, 1727 have 
been categorized as highly sensitive.
ECP establishes Control Room & Complaint Cell
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) 
has established a central control room at its headquarters in Islamabad 
for the ongoing by-elections.
According to an official of ECP, the control room will remain functional till completion of election results.
The official said a separate complaint cell has been established at ECP to receive complaints related to the by-polls.
He said a facilitation and result receiving center has also been established which will work round the clock.
The official said media has been asked 
to avoid releasing unofficial results before 6:00 pm today as ordered by
 Lahore High Court.
