Six killed including four policemen in explosion at Raiwind, Lahore

At least six people were killed including four policemen in an explosion at Raiwind, Lahore.

According to media reports, the blast occurred near a police vehicle at a check post. The policemen were deployed to safeguard the religious gathering of Tablighi Jamaat.  

Initial reports suggest that more than 30 people were injured in the blast and they were taken to hospitals. More police and security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area.

Investigators at the outset of their investigation are of the view that a motorcycle was used in the blast.
