Ink thrown on Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif in workers' convention

A person threw ink on the face of Pakistan Mulsim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader and Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif during party’s workers' convention in Sialkot.

Khawaja Asif was addressing the Workers Convention when suddenly an unknown man came forward and threw ink on his face. 

Responding to the unpleasant incident, Asif termed it a premeditated move while stating that money was given for the deplorable task.

“Such incidents can’t weaken me. Sialkot has elected me multiple times and will do same in the future”, Asif added.

The man who had thrown ink was arrested by the Police at the spot. Later, Asif directed officials not to take action against the offender.
