A shoe thrown on Nawaz Sharif in Lahore

A shoe was thrown on the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Lahore.

Nawaz Sharif was invited to speak at a gathering in Jamia Naeemia. As he approached the rostrum, someone threw a shoe on him. The media footage shows that the shoe hit the chest.

The man who had thrown the shoe was caught on the spot. The people beat the person and handed him over to the authorities.
