Gate-crashing crowd at inaugural session of Karachi's 10th Youth Festival


Tenth annual youth festival at Arts Council in Pakistan's city of light Karachi attracted thousands of youth from across the city.

Featuring various games, activities, dance, music and theatre plays, the festival will run for 8 days and will come to an end on February 24. The line-up of musicians who will be performing live at the festival include young singing sensations Hamza Akram Qawwal and Nabeel Shaukat Ali.

President Arts Council, Ahmad Shah said, “Arts Council is proud to organize an another youth festival that is aimed at promoting arts among youngsters. It’s been 10 years since we first started off and we have been able to train around 17,000 underprivileged students in theatre, dance and music. This year, the festival is very unique and will feature workshops and trainings. It aims to highlight the importance of art and culture among the youth.”

Thousands of youngsters have registered for the this festival and we hope it only gets bigger and better each year.
